Marquita Haywood is a woman of faith, purpose, and joy who leads with strength, grace, and humility. She serves alongside her husband at Freedom House 757 in Portsmouth, Virginia, where she is passionate about worship, prayer, and discipleship. With over a decade of experience in executive administration, she has supported senior leaders and helped organizations operate with excellence.

Marquita holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Bennett College and an MBA from Liberty University. She is the founder of More Than Just A Body, a nonprofit supporting women impacted by breast cancer, and the visionary behind MEASURE: The Lion’s Den, a space empowering women to grow in confidence, clarity, and purpose.

Committed to reflecting God in all she does, Marquita is dedicated to helping others discover their purpose and walk boldly in it.

Measure is a space of protection, purpose, and transformation. Designed for the lioness in the den, Measure represents the sacred place where vision is nurtured, identity is refined, and greatness is birthed. This is where resilience is strengthened, confidence is cultivated, and purpose is awakened. In the den, there is both preparation and power. Measure is a space where challenges are faced, growth is intentional, and success is developed from the inside out. Measure exists to support women as they step fully into who they are called to be. It is a reminder that the process matters, the environment matters, and the journey is just as important as the outcome.
